Advanced Notice: Planned Personal Health Record (PHR) and Clinical Record System downtime (22 April – 28 April 2025).
On 22 April 2025, we will be undertaking essential work on our patient system and the Personal Health Record (PHR) is expected to be unavailable between 22 April and 28 April. Please check back here for regular updates.
Our phone lines will remain open to support you during the essential changes.
Whilst our systems are unavailable, you may experience longer wait times on the phone line while we support other patients.
Please note that we will not be able to book non-urgent appointments, we will assess for need, then contact you after our system is back online with an appointment time and date.
If your call is not urgent, you may prefer to wait and contact us another time or wait until Personal Health Record is available.
Urgent care includes new, painful ulcers/blisters; new onset severe abdominal pain; new onset severe testicular pain; emergency contraception/emergency coil fitting; PEPSE and Sexual Assault
If you require condoms, please visit any of our clinics or if you are under 25, you can visit any Get it On site for free condoms. Click here for information about the Get it On scheme
Other ways to access urgent care when Sexual Health Services are closed:
· Emergency Contraception is available from most Pharmacies and GP Surgeries. Click here for more information
· If you are worried that you may be at risk of getting HIV, you can access PEP (Post-exposure Prophylaxis) which is medication to help reduce HIV transmission after the virus has entered the body. It is a course of drugs that is taken after sex where there has been a higher risk of exposure and should be taken as soon as possible after sex. Visit your nearest A&E department or any of our clinics.
· If you have any urgent care needs, including new, painful ulcers/blisters; new onset severe abdominal pain or new onset severe testicular pain, you can also contact your nearest A&E department or your GP.

Please note:
· If you have ordered an online test kit or condoms via your PHR before 22 April, these will continue to be processed.
· If you are waiting results from a recent test online or via one of our clinics, we anticipate a possible delay in patients receiving results.

- For non-urgent results, please expect a delay due our essential system change.
